In 2004, after working in the field for 15 years, I decided that I wanted to take a chance and run my own electrical business so I grabbed a person who wanted to be a partner and off we went. As a partnership we did pretty good and as the business started to grow we made the decision to incorporate the company in 2006. This allowed us expand our reach and take on more client projects.
In 2010, I made the decision to take over full ownership of Gersty’s Electrical Contracting. It was a big step, but I knew that I was ready for the challenge. Throughout my career in the electrical field, I have always strived to do the job right the first time. I believe that quality workmanship is essential in this industry, and I take great pride in the work that I do.
When it comes to working with clients, I understand the importance of being punctual. People’s time is valuable, and I make it a point to show up on time, if not a little early. I enjoy working in all areas of the electrical field, but residential, commercial, and service electrician work are my specialties.
Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with many talented apprentices. I believe in passing on my skills and knowledge to the next generation of electricians, and I take pride in the fact that the quality of workmanship used in Gersty’s Electrical Contracting today has been passed down to my apprentices. I am proud of the work that they do, and I know that they will go on to become great electricians in their own right.
