In 2004, I had an idea of starting my own electrical contractor business. The name Gersty's comes from being short for my last name as all my friends in school found saying my last name (Gerstenbuhler) was hard to say because its so long. I started the business with a family member, who is also well- known around Lethbridge, and we did pretty good as a partnership together. In 2006 we decided to incorperate the company as things were moving along and the business started to grow. In 2010 a decision was made and I took over as full ownership. 

 Along my journey in the electrical field, I have always wanted any job I do to be done right the first time and really hate having to re-do things over. I have been known to show up a little early to the job at hand rather than late as I know the importance of being on time when people have taken time out of they're busy schedule to meet me.

I have always been a great residential, commercial and service electrician as these are areas I enjoy working in.

When it comes to apprentices, I have taken on a number of great people who I've passed my skills onto and the same quality of workmanship that is used in this company today and have prepared them for they're career's  of electrician, so they too can go on to become great electricians as well.
